We're rebuilding visa
preparation from the file up.
Most visa applications fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the applicant's eligibility — they fail because the documentary file doesn't match the rules. GateScore checks the file against those rules before the embassy ever sees it.
Every applicant deserves to know their score.
Across the global south, families spend life savings on visa applications that fail for fixable reasons — bank statements that don't span 28 days, sponsor letters that contradict the offer letter, prior refusals that nobody disclosed.
The information needed to avoid those failures already exists in the embassy's published guidance. It's just hard to find, hard to interpret, and harder to apply to one specific file. GateScore exists to make that information actionable — for everyone, not just those who can afford a $500-an-hour immigration lawyer.
We're a documentary audit. We don't represent applicants. We don't lobby embassies. We don't promise visa outcomes. What we do is tell you, in specific terms, whether your file matches the documentary rules of the destination you're applying to, and what to fix if it doesn't.
From Lahore to twenty countries.
The first audit
GateScore began as a side project — a checklist that turned into a scoring rubric. The first hundred audits were done by hand on real files across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.
Pakistan launch
GateScore launched publicly in Pakistan with a network of licensed agency partners and three banking partners. Refusal rates among audited files dropped 31% on average.
Twenty-country rollout
Active pilots across South Asia, Southeast Asia, MENA, GCC, Africa, and Latin America. Partnerships with universities, banks, and global talent platforms in motion.
API-grade integrations
Embedded GateScore audits inside university admissions, employer-sponsored work visa flows, and bank account onboarding for visa applicants.
Principles
Documentary, not advisory
We audit the file. We do not advise on visa strategy, fill in applications, or represent applicants. The rules belong to the embassy; we just check whether your file matches them.
Severity over scores
A score is only as useful as the specific issues behind it. Every flag has a severity, a rule citation, and a concrete remediation step. The number is shorthand for the work.
Embassy-aligned, never adversarial
We work from published embassy guidance. We don’t try to game rules or coach answers — that’s the path to misrepresentation findings and long bans.

Built by people who've sat through embassy queues.
GateScore is built by a small distributed team across Pakistan, the UK, and Canada. Our backgrounds span immigration law, machine learning, banking, and education. We've all, at one point, had a visa refused for reasons we didn't fully understand until afterward.
